Every kitchen needs a centre island for food prep and pretty wall tiles.
The counter was made simply from 4 pieces of wooden dowel and 2 piece of wood. The top is slightly larger than the shelf. I shaped the legs on the grinder in the garage using it something like a lathe. I am learning quickly that all tools in the garage have multiple purposes when it comes to miniature building. The kitchen tiles were found on the internet in a free project and then printed onto glossy photo paper. I scored the “grouted” lines and then glued the sheets of tiles into place.
